In a recent court ruling, three men have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 20 months to three years for their involvement in violent disorder in Merseyside. The incident occurred in the aftermath of a tragic attack in Southport, which left three young girls dead.
The men, identified as Derek Drummond, 58, Declan Geiran, 29, and Liam Riley, 41, were found guilty of violent disorder and other related offenses. Drummond received the longest sentence of three years for his role in the disorder, as well as assaulting an emergency worker.

Geiran was sentenced to 30 months in prison for violent disorder, arson, and malicious communications. Riley received a 20-month sentence for violent disorder and a racially-aggravated public order offense.
