Austin FC winger Osman Bukari has donated sporting goods to schools in seven communities in the Akuapim North Municipal in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The goods, which include footballs, jerseys, match socks and training kits, were donated to various primary and secondary schools in the municipality.
After presenting the items, Bukari took to social media to reveal the kind gesture, saying it was meant to support the physical education curriculum, which focuses on character building and educational values.
“I was fortunate enough to donate a set of jerseys, footballs and socks to schools (primary and secondary) in my hometown and 6 other neighboring villages around Kwahu Mamfe. There will be many more to come. “See you in December in Kwahu Mamfe!” he posted.
Kwahu Mamfe, Sukwa, Koranteng, Atuobikrom, Muramura, Yirenkyikrom and Formanso were the beneficiaries of the humanitarian act.
