Ghanaian highlife musician K.K. Fosu has finally opened up about a devastating accident he experienced on May 25, 2024, which involved fellow musician Bless, known for the hit song Chocho Mu Cho, and a young man who tragically lost his life in the incident. K.K. Fosu lamented the criticisms he faced during his ordeal and expressed his faith in divine justice.
“Anyone who blogged or spoke negatively about me during my tribulations, my God will judge them. I become deeply saddened every time I recall the accident, and it pains me that people would sit and make false claims. I have forgiven them, but God will not. I worship a God greater than the universe, and I trust Him to see me through,” he said.
K.K. Fosu strongly denied allegations that he was involved in any wrongdoing related to the young man’s death, including rumours of ritualistic practices.
“People claimed I killed the young man for money rituals. That is absurd. I do not create human beings, so how could I take a life? I have a forgetful nature, so when someone offends me, I speak my mind and move on. I am honest, and I only speak about what I know,” he added.
The musician also explained why he was unable to attend the funeral of the deceased.
“I was undergoing treatment in the Volta Region at the time. Before the burial, Bless reached out to me, but we lost contact. To Ghanaians, I say this: when incidents like these happen, take time to understand the facts before criticizing. This is my first interview since the accident, and I want people to know that I was not fully recovered.
“We are working on how to support the family. Bless is also healing, and together, we will do our best. It wasn’t by force for me to attend the funeral, especially since the accident affected all three of us,” K.K. Fosu noted.
