Ghana U-20 coach Desmond Ofei has named 35 players as part of a preparatory phase to prepare the team for their duties at the start of the new year.

The players invited to join the Ghana Under-20 Men’s National Team have been selected by Ghana Premier League clubs for evaluation as the team begins preparations for the 2025 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations next year.

The group will be in camp from January 3 to 9, 2025.
After this group of Premier League players completes their camp, the players selected by the Premier League clubs will be announced and this group of players will also camp from January 10 to 15, 2025.

Coach Ofei and his technical team are focused on identifying talented players from the local league to complement the team’s current roster.

This assessment is part of the technical team’s ongoing efforts to ensure that the best possible team is selected for the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Côte d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
