The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Setor Dumelo, has expressed optimism about his chances of winning the constituency seat in the December 7 election.
His remarks came after the special voting exercise that began on Monday, December 2 at the Legon Police Station in the area.
The exercise allows eligible voters, including electoral officers, security personnel and media workers involved in electoral duties, to cast their ballots ahead of the general election.
Speaking to Citi News, Dumelo expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the voting process and reiterated his confidence of victory when the final results are announced.
“My expectations are high. We know we will win at the end of the day. We made mistakes in 2020 and we will correct them.
“We have seen the weakness of our opponent, so we will use it as our strength. December 7th means that in a few days, after all, we know that we will win. We are well prepared for victory. »
