President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described the vice president and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as the best candidate to lead Ghana in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region, on Saturday, November 30, the President highlighted the qualifications and leadership qualities of Dr. Bawumia like few others.

He said that the extraordinary qualities of Dr. Bawumia make him the ideal candidate to lead and position Ghana in the fourth industrial revolution.

“I sincerely believe that of the two main candidates vying in Ghana today to become the sixth president of the Fourth Republic, he [Dr Bawumia] is a superior choice,” he said.
