The acquittal and discharge of Cassiel Ato Forson and Richard Jakpa have been appealed by Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame.

The Supreme Court received the appeal on Thursday afternoon.

The Attorney General argues that by concluding that a prima facie case against Ato Forson and Richard Jakpa has not been established, the Court of Appeal erred in law and misdirected itself.
