Popular comedian and skit maker, Mr. Macaroni, has weighed in on the challenges of fidelity in relationships, asserting that remaining faithful during marriage or courtship is difficult for many partners.

Speaking on the Diary of a Naija Girl podcast, Mr. Macaroni admitted that infidelity is a widespread issue affecting both genders. While acknowledging the possibility of staying committed, he emphasized how challenging it can be once a partner begins to stray.

“It’s possible not to cheat, but it is very difficult. I might not be in a relationship or considering one right now, but I’m a relationship expert. I’m serious! My friends talk to me about their relationships, and I advise them. But I think it’s easier for me to help them because I’m outside of the relationship,” he said.

He further noted, “It’s very difficult not to cheat as a married person. Both men and women struggle with it. You tell yourself you’ll cheat just once, but once you start, there’s no going back.”

Highlighting the emotional toll of infidelity, he added, “Cheating in a relationship is a deeply hurtful betrayal that can shatter trust and leave lasting emotional scars.”
