Yul Edochie weighs in on PSquare feud, advocates for peace through distance

Famous Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has shared his perspective on the ongoing feud between the iconic Nigerian music duo PSquare, comprised of Paul and Peter Okoye.

Amid widespread calls for reconciliation, Edochie offered an alternative viewpoint on Instagram, suggesting that sometimes true peace is found through separation rather than closeness.

The actor-turned-pastor argued that, for some individuals, maintaining distance is essential for their well-being, and that forcing a reunion could be harmful.

“I see people saying, ‘Rudeboy, go make peace with your brother,’ ‘Mr P, go make peace with your brother,’ and I just laugh. Many people still don’t understand what life is about. Sometimes real peace comes from staying apart,” Edochie remarked.

He continued, “Sometimes even some family members have to be blocked to achieve peace. Sometimes you just have to relate with people from a distance to have peace. Trying to be close will kill you. Life is short, especially for men. Too much stress can lead to sudden death.

“That’s why we have many widows everywhere. You have to be intentional about your life. And life is lived individually. Block anyone who disrupts your peace. Don’t look back.

“Fight for yourself. Stay alive. It’s good to see PSquare together, but if they need to stay apart to be happy and alive, let them stay apart. We love them regardless,” he concluded.
