Valencia have brought in new coach Carlos Corberan, but with Los Che stuck at the bottom of the table, Miguel Angel Corona is also working on reinforcements for the January transfer window.
Umar Sadiq is Valencia’s main target on loan from Real Sociedad, according to Relevo. However, in theory, Valencia would have to sell another striker for Sadiq to arrive, which would likely mean finding a new home for Rafa Mir, who is on loan from Sevilla.
Los Nervionenses have no plans to bring Mir back in January and Mir is currently set to stay at Mestalla.
Mir has spent some time away from the team under Ruben Baraja after being accused of sexual assault in a case in which the police dropped charges.
The former Wolves striker, however, broke the team’s disciplinary code and is yet to have much of an impact on his return to his first professional team.
