UG’s Political Science Department Receives Koku Anyidoho’s Latest Book

Samuel Koku Anyidoho, Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute, has presented copies of his book, “Uncompromising Thoughts: Leafing Out National Issues”, to the Political Science Department at the University of Ghana, Legon. The donation, made on Tuesday, is a gesture of giving back to his alma mater.

Anyidoho expressed his honor in contributing to academic knowledge, hoping his experience would inspire other past students to share their written works with the university. He thanked the department for accepting the books.

 

Professor Alidu Seidu, Head of the Political Science Department, thanked Anyidoho for his generosity, stating that the book would be a valuable resource for students’ academic exercises. He highlighted the significance of writing, noting that it allows experiences to be shared with future generations.

The book chronicles Anyidoho’s experiences during President Atta-Mills’ presidency, offering insights into leadership styles and nation-building. It also covers aspects of President Jerry John Rawlings’ tenure and the construction of Asomdwe Park under President Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration.
