In a recent appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast, American actor Tyrese Gibson shared his thoughts on marriage, describing it as the ultimate form of “true wealth.” He emphasized that for high-achieving individuals like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, a strong and successful marriage outweighs material possessions and professional achievements.

“True wealth is marriage. Jay-Z and Beyoncé understand that. Nobody needs to go home to a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone. Nobody should be alone. This concept of being alone is bullsh*t!” Gibson stated passionately.

He further added, “Most of your favorite female singers, who sing about independence, are going home to their man, fiancé, or husband. Nobody wants to be alone. Companionship is biblical. Marriage is very important.”

Gibson’s perspective on marriage is shaped by his own experiences, having been married and divorced twice. He was married to Norma Mitchell from 2007 to 2009 and later married Samantha Lee in 2017, with their union ending in 2020.
