Eight athletes from Ghana are competing in three different sports at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Harry Stacey, Joselle Mensah, and Rose Yeboah compete in high jump; Saminu Abdul Rasheed, Joseph Paul Amoah, Fuseini Ibrahim, Botsio Isaac, and Benjamin Azamati compete in swimming.

On Tuesday, July 30, Harry Stacey will compete in the Men’s 100m Freestyle – Heat 4 to begin the team’s Games campaign in swimming.

Rose Yeboah will compete in the women’s high jump competition on Friday, August 2.

Joselle Mensah will compete in the Women’s 100m Freestyle – Heat 6 one day later.

Abdul Rasheed and Azamati will participate in the Men’s 100m on the same day.

The five sprinters will compete for the country in the first round of the 4x100m relay on August 8.
