Awuah Ampofo, a Form One Electrical Engineering student at Sunyani Methodist Technical Institute, has been recognized for his outstanding commitment to decent dressing and academic excellence. During a visit to the institute, the Acting Director-General of Ghana TVET Service, Mr. David Prah, presented Awuah with a special award, which includes a week-long trip to Accra, complete with a flight from Sunyani.
This morning, Awuah arrived at the Sunyani Airport, eager to embark on his journey, a testament to his dedication to excellence. The Bono Regional Director, Mr. Gabriel Gyamfi, ensured a smooth departure for Awuah, who will spend the next week exploring Accra.
Mr. Prah’s initiative aims to promote a culture of discipline, integrity, and excellence among TVET students, emphasizing the importance of decent dressing and a serious commitment to their education. By rewarding Awuah’s exemplary behavior, the Ghana TVET Service is inspiring students to strive for greatness and transform Ghana through TVET education.
