Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has showered praises on rapper Medikal, lauding his loyalty and steadfast friendship.

During Medikal’s “Beyond Kontrol” concert at Ghud Park on December 26, 2024, Shatta Wale recounted the unwavering support Medikal showed him during his challenging times and vowed to reciprocate.

“People want us to fight and have misunderstandings, but I went to jail with you, and I’m not leaving you. I will stand by you and defend you against anyone,” Shatta Wale declared, adding humorously, “I will kill any rapper who tries you.”

Medikal, in response, thanked Shatta Wale for his unwavering friendship and urged fans to support the dancehall musician’s upcoming trip to Jamaica.

“Shatta Wale is going to Jamaica to meet Vybz Kartel. Let’s all support him in this big step,” Medikal said.

The “Beyond Kontrol” concert attracted a massive crowd, with Medikal delivering an energetic performance of his hit songs. The event also featured stellar performances by other artists, including Shatta Wale, Efya, KK Fosu, Quamina MP, Lyrical Joe, and Jay Bhad, leaving the audience thrilled.
