Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), delivered a scathing address at the rally grounds after the Manhyia South Health Walk, urging the Ashanti Region to “send the NDC to the morgue” in the upcoming elections.

Dr. Prempeh sarcastically referenced the NDC flagbearer’s 2020 campaign promise to provide morgues for Zongo communities, saying, “This year, Ashanti Region should vote massively to send the NDC to the morgue they promised.”

He further ridiculed former President John Dramani Mahama’s infamous “dead goat” comment, stating, “A dead goat cannot serve the living. The NDC’s ideas are stale, and their leadership is exhausted.”

Dr. Prempeh’s call to “send the NDC to the morgue” has become a rallying cry for NPP supporters, as the party gears up for a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.

The outcome of this year’s election will reveal if the NDC will indeed meet its political demise.
