SDA Church Ordained to Decide 2024 Elections – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (aka Wontumi), has made a passionate appeal to the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church to play a pivotal role in ensuring Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes Ghana’s next President in the December 2024 elections.

Speaking at the Mampongten SDA Church during his constituency campaign tour, Wontumi emphasized the significance of the election date, December 7th, coinciding with the church’s worship day. He believes this is a divine coincidence and a manifestation of God’s plan for Ghana.

Wontumi expressed his conviction that the SDA church has been ordained to decide the 2024 elections in favor of Dr. Bawumia. He stated, “Dr. Bawumia will be President of Ghana with the help and support of the SDA church.” The party will be eternally grateful to the church for their support.

The church responded to Wontumi’s appeal by leading a prayer session for the NPP team, seeking God’s favor and guidance.

Wontumi is on a regional campaign tour, accompanied by party leadership, including Beatrice Owusu, Andy Owusu, George Opoku Amponsah, Kwaku Atta Sarpong, and others. The team is promoting the party’s policies and Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy to constituents.

During the tour, they visited various markets in the constituency, led by the party’s Parliamentary candidate, Onyina Acheampong Kwasi Gyamfi, and his executives.

Wontumi’s appeal to the SDA church highlights the significance of religious groups in Ghana’s political landscape and the NPP’s efforts to garner support from diverse sectors of society.
