Richard Ahiagbah, the Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is recovering steadily after being involved in a serious accident on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Ahiagbah was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, where he has been receiving treatment.

According to sources, the accident occurred around 1:30 am on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Aduapompo, when Ahiagbah’s vehicle collided with an articulated truck. The NPP Communications Director sustained injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Fortunately, Ahiagbah is responding positively to treatment and is in a stable condition. The attending doctors have advised limiting visitors to ensure he receives adequate rest during his recovery.

The NPP has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all well-meaning Ghanaians for their overwhelming love and well wishes. The party has also assured supporters that Ahiagbah is receiving the best medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.
