Reject Tribal Politicians – NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged Ghanaians to reject politicians who campaign on tribal lines, emphasizing the need for unity and inclusivity in politics.

During his campaign tour of the Central Region, Dr. Prempeh addressed chiefs and residents in Assin Fosu, stressing that tribal politics poses a threat to Ghana’s development. He emphasized that leaders who promote divisiveness are unfit to lead the country.

“Tribal politics has no place in Ghana,” Dr. Prempeh stated. “We must reject any politician who seeks to divide us along ethnic or tribal lines. We are one people, one nation, and must work together towards a common goal.”

The audience praised Dr. Prempeh’s commitment to unity and national cohesion. His warning comes amidst accusations of politicians exploiting ethnic and tribal differences for political gain. Dr. Prempeh’s call to vote wisely and reject divisive politics serves as a timely reminder of the importance of unity in Ghanaian politics.
