President John Dramani Mahama has accepted the decision of Mrs Elsie Addo Awadzi, Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to take early retirement from the Bank with effect from 28th February 2025.

A statement issued by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, copied to the Ghana News Agency said the President thanked Mrs Awadzi for her distinguished service to the Bank and the Republic and wished her well in her future endeavours.
