Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the P-Square duo, has reiterated his decision to part ways with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. The longstanding rift between the brothers came to light after Paul, in an interview, alleged that Peter had reported him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), seeking his arrest.
During an Instagram live session on Wednesday, September 18, Paul expressed his frustration, claiming that he handled the majority of the work while others reaped the benefits. He also emphasized that the feud between him and Peter is far more complicated than it appears to the public.
P-Square originally split in 2017 but reconciled in November 2021. Speaking in Pidgin English, Paul said: “Those days of ‘monkey dey work, baboon dey chop,’ I’m no longer interested. I’d rather work for myself. I was always the one singing all the songs. I’m done with that.”
