Our Pupils Are Choked in The Classrooms Due to Inadequate Infrastructure- OWASS Headmistress Lament

The Headmistress of Opoku Ware M/A Basic School, Madam Cynthia Osei-Poku, has called on the government, philanthropists, and individuals to assist the school with more infrastructure to enrol more pupils into the school.

According to her, the school is fast growing due to quality education being offered by hard-working and dedicated teachers, but the inadequate infrastructure is the challenge faced by the school.

She continued that, although the PTA has supported the school by expanding some of the classrooms, it is still not enough to accommodate the pupils as some classes have A and B with 70 pupils.

The Headmistress of Opoku Ware M/A Basic School, Madam Cynthia Osei-Poku, therefore urged all stakeholders to come on board and support the school.

She made this appeal when the school was celebrating its 3rd Annual Graduation ceremony with the theme “Raising Effective and Efficient Leaders, the Role of Stakeholders.”

The Deputy Manager of Angel Group of Companies, Mr. Boasiako Kwaku Duah, who represented Dr. Kwaku Oteng, as the guest speaker, explained the need for private entities to give back to society whenever the need arises.

In order for the school to get more infrastructure, Dr. Kwaku Oteng donated 50 bags of cement to support the school and build more classrooms for the pupils.
