Renowned Nollywood actress and producer Omotola Jalade has expressed her gratitude to God for life and good health after undergoing emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder.

In a heartfelt social media post on November 28, 2024, Omotola shared details of her health scare, which began weeks ago with intermittent back and chest pains. After being rushed to the hospital twice for these symptoms, she experienced severe stomach pain that led to a third emergency visit.

Extensive tests, including a CT scan and MRI, revealed that her gallbladder was “dilated,” prompting doctors to recommend immediate surgery.

Recounting her ordeal, Omotola wrote: “Have you been told by a doctor, ‘There’s nothing more we can do’? And you still feel like you’re dying? I was rushed again to the emergency… the third time! This time, I was wheeled in straight for a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. Then the doctor came in and said, ‘You have to go in immediately for surgery to remove your gallbladder!’ It was so dilated, the doctors wondered how I was not in more pain. More pain??!!!”

Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and the actress is now on the path to full recovery.

Using her experience to inspire others, Omotola encouraged her followers to count their blessings, no matter their circumstances, emphasizing the importance of gratitude and resilience.
