Nyinahin Chief: NPP’s Progress Deserves Another Term in Office

Nana Amapene Boateng Twum II, the Chief of Nyinahin, has wholeheartedly endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, led by President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for their exceptional performance in office. He emphasized that the administration’s solid foundation and numerous achievements warrant another term to continue their development agenda.

The Chief highlighted the transformative impact of the NPP government in his traditional area, citing significant projects that have benefited Nyinahin since the party took office. Key developments include:

– Electrification: The community, once plagued by power issues, now enjoys reliable electricity, thanks to the NPP government’s efforts.

– Infrastructure: A hospital, stadium, schools, roads, and other landmark projects have been built to improve the lives of the people.

– Economic opportunities: Policies are in place to facilitate the mining of bauxite at Nyinahin, poised to benefit the local population.

Nana Boateng Twum II expressed his gratitude for these accomplishments, stating, “What else do we want?” He urged the citizenry to retain the NPP in 2024, acknowledging that the party is “on the right path” and has demonstrated its commitment to development.

The Chief made these remarks during a grand durbar welcoming NPP running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (aka ‘Napo’), to Nyinahin on August 27. His endorsement reflects the appreciation of the Nyinahin community for the NPP government’s tangible achievements and their desire for continued progress under the party’s leadership.
