Nursing College Principals Commend Deputy Health Minister

Principals of Nursing and Midwifery Training Colleges have commended Deputy Health Minister, Hon. Adeleide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, for her proactive efforts in addressing challenges facing their institutions. Since assuming office, Hon. Ntim has embarked on a series of visits to nursing and midwifery schools, engaging with students, staff, and leadership to identify areas for improvement.

Her recent visits to Kumasi Nursing and Midwifery School, Kumasi ENT and NTC, Kumasi School of Anathesia, and SDA NMTC, Kwadaso, have been hailed as a breath of fresh air. Principals have expressed gratitude for her willingness to listen and pledge support, citing her visit as a motivation to share success stories and challenges.

Mr. Daniel Atta Tuffour, Principal of SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College, praised Hon. Ntim’s competence and commitment, stating that her visit was a first in his 18 years as principal. He looks forward to working with her to achieve better outcomes.

Hon. Ntim assured the colleges that she would work closely with the Health Minister, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, to address the challenges facing the nursing institutions. Her proactive approach has been welcomed by the principals, who are optimistic about the positive impact her efforts will have on the nursing and midwifery training sector.
