NPP’s Development Record Unbeatable in Ghana’s History – Napo

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a bold statement, claiming that the NPP’s development and social intervention records in Ghana’s history are unmatched. Speaking at a campaign rally in Asante Mampong, Ashanti Region, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the party’s impressive track record in rolling out major social intervention programs that have significantly improved the well-being of Ghanaians.

According to Dr. Prempeh, successive NPP governments have embarked on record-breaking infrastructural projects, surpassing all previous governments. He emphasized the party’s exceptional performance in key sectors such as:

– Health: Significant improvements in healthcare infrastructure and services
– Road: Extensive road construction and rehabilitation projects
– Education: Implementation of programs like Free SHS, improving access to quality education
– Economy: Initiatives like One District, One Factory, boosting economic growth

Dr. Prempeh warned against voting for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), cautioning that they have a history of worsening the standard of living for Ghanaians when in power. In contrast, he praised the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, for outlining bold solutions to develop the country.

The NPP’s commitment to development is evident in its past achievements, including the implementation of significant social intervention programs under President John Kufuor and President Nana Akufo-Addo. These programs have had a lasting impact on the lives of Ghanaians, demonstrating the party’s dedication to improving the nation’s well-being.
