Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed confidence in his party’s impressive 16-year governance record, citing it as a compelling reason for re-election.
Addressing supporters during a campaign tour in the Ashanti Region’s Odotobri constituency, specifically at Tweapease, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the NPP’s remarkable achievements in:
1. Infrastructural Development: Enhancing roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and more.
2. Social Intervention Programs: Implementing landmark initiatives benefiting vulnerable communities.
The NPP’s commitment to improving lives through policy and development initiatives has been unwavering, Dr. Prempeh emphasized. He praised local chiefs for their invaluable support in Ghana’s development and urged them to pray for the NPP’s success in the 2024 polls.
Dr. Prempeh assured the community that the NPP will tackle the area’s pressing concern: poor road conditions. This promise aligns with the party’s focus on continuing development initiatives and addressing community needs.
By comparing the NPP’s record to that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Prempeh believes Ghanaians will recognize the NPP’s dedication to progress and re-elect them.
“Our 16-year legacy speaks for itself,” Dr. Prempeh stated. “We’ve delivered on our promises, and we’re committed to doing even more for Ghana’s future.”
