The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially submitted former President John Dramani Mahama’s nomination forms for the 2024 presidential election. A delegation led by NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah presented the forms at the Electoral Commission (EC) headquarters.
Asiedu Nketiah expressed concerns about the electoral process, urging the EC to ensure fairness. He cited issues with the voter register but assured continued engagement with the EC to address these concerns.
This development follows the submission of nomination forms by other presidential candidates, including Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia (NPP), Dr. Hassan Ayariga (APC), Samuel Apea-Danquah (Yellow Ghana), George Twum Barima Adu (independent), Nana Kwame Bediako (New Force Movement), and Kofi Akpaloo (Liberal Party of Ghana).
The EC will now review and verify the nomination forms, paving the way for the December 7 polls.
