On Friday, August 9, 2024, the Minister for National Security, Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah, presented a brand-new vehicle to the Offinso Municipal Police Command. The donation was made in response to a request by the Offinsomanhene, Nana Dwamena Akenten II, during the last Akwasidee celebration.

At a brief ceremony, the Offinso Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kingsley Owusu Appiah, representing the National Security Minister, assured the gathering that the government is committed to providing resources to support security agencies in their efforts to combat crime.

Appiah urged the police to perform their duties without interference and to utilize the vehicle effectively. Nana Dwamena Akenten II, receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Police, emphasized the importance of proper maintenance and using the vehicle for its intended purpose.

The donation aims to enhance the operational capacity of the Offinso Police Command, enabling them to better serve and protect the community.
