Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of The New Force movement, has officially filed his nomination forms at the Electoral Commission headquarters. Accompanied by his wife and dignitaries, Bediako submitted his forms to EC chairperson Jean Mensa, who assured him of the commission’s commitment to maintaining high standards throughout the electoral process.
Addressing the media, Bediako described the moment as historic for young Ghanaians, expressing gratitude for the support and pride in being one of the few young presidential candidates. When asked about his running mate, Bediako revealed that he had named the person on his forms but would unveil them at a later stage, saying “I would when the time is right… Keep waiting, when the mask comes off, you’ll see.”
Bediako’s submission of nomination forms marks a significant step in his presidential bid, with the December polls approaching. His campaign promises to bring a fresh perspective to Ghanaian politics, and his youth and energy have generated significant interest among voters.
