MTN Ghana donates GHc20.000 to support Effutu Aboakyer Festival

MTN Ghana has presented a cheque of GH¢20,000, assorted drink hampers and MTN branded souvenirs to the Effutu Traditional Council as their support for the 2025 edition of the Aboakyer Festival.

Senior Manager for the South-West Business District of MTN, Mr Prince Owusu Nyarko, who led a delegation to Effutu Traditional Council to make the donation, said “MTN is there for the people and have come to join the chiefs and people of the area to reaffirm our relationship and lend continuous support to the people of Effutuman.

The gesture is also a way of showing gratitude to the Chiefs and people of Effutu for patronising the MTN brand which had helped make the network a leader in the telecommunications industry.

Mr Nyarko pledged the company’s commitment to deepen their relationship with the traditional council and support them to ensure the entire people of Effutu and the country at large kept enjoying their products and services.

He indicated that customer experience centres had been set up across Winneba town to support customers and provide education on MoMo fraud to enable people to guard their wallets against fraudsters.

“We have also provided distinct customer experience centers to provide customers with an enhanced customer experience while they celebrate.”

Neenyi Ghartey VII, Paramount Chief of Effutu State who received the items on behalf of the Festival Planning Committee, thanked MTN for their consistent support and praised them for always honouring their Corporate Social Responsibility.

“We value your relationship with us, because we believe it has been quite fruitful so far, and once you are there for us, we will as well be there for you,” he added.
