The much-anticipated MTN FA Cup quarter-finals draw is set to take place at the MTN House, Ridge on Friday, March 7.
After an exciting round of matches in the last 16 stage, the remaining four lower tier sides, PAC Academy, Attram De Visser, True Democracy and Golden Kick would hope to rock shoulders with three premier league giants, Berekum Chelsea, Bechem United and Karela United for a place in the semi-finals.
The final slot would be decided on March 12 after the rescheduled clash between Asante Kotoko and Sekondi Eleven Wise.
Former FA Cup winners Berekum Chelsea managed to book a place in the semis after beating Division One league side Northern City 4-1.
Despite their unimpressive run in the premier league, the Bono-based side is still focused on clinching the FA Cup title to restore their dignity as one of Ghanaâs favourites.
Lower tier side, Golden Kick have also left a mark in their FA Cup journey after eliminating 12-time champions Accra Hearts of Oak.
Their announcement comes as warning of what they planned to unfold in the quarters despite being tagged as underdogs.
The winner of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup will not only claim domestic glory but will also secure a ticket to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup.
With Premier League giants, lower-division surprises, and a potential final slot for one of Ghanaâs most successful clubs, the quarter-final draw is expected to set the stage for intense matchups.
