MP for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency collaborates with Vintage Mobility to launch electronic motorbikes

Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) Constituency in collaboration with Vintage Mobility Limited (VML) has launched electronic motorbikes in the Area to enhance Ghana’s transition to electric transportation.
The electronic transport system included motorbikes and tricycles to be sold on high purchase to government workers, private sector workers, and institutions.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu described the move by VML as a bold step to alleviate the plight of government workers, mostly dominant in the district to take advantage and purchase the electronic motorbikes to aid their movements.
He said electronic motorbikes were gaining popularity worldwide mainly because of the unique advantage of cost savings, smooth riding experience, higher performance and lower environmental impact as they do not rely on fuel.
In addition, he observed that, they do not emit smoke and other pollutants into the atmosphere, a better alternative for the modern age.
He therefore appealed to teachers, health workers, business owners and institutions to get themselves registered for them to qualify for the acquisition of electronic motorbikes and tricycles.

The MP also said plans were far advanced for the tarring of the Abura Dunkwa town roads and assured that other towns would also have theirs done later.
Mr William Sarfo Mensah, Technical Director for VML said they were committed to accelerating Ghana’s transition to electronic transportation.
A network of high-powered electronic vehicle chargers would soon be installed along strategic highways in AAK to help motorist charge their motorbikes when the batteries run down.
While they recognised that the upfront cost of acquiring this modern efficient transport system was a bit expensive, they would bridge the gap between ownership and aspirations.
Mr Mensah urged interested parties and individuals to access the transport system and that would guarantee them ownership.
He pointed out that the electronic transport system would end the tailpipe emissions, contribute directly to cleaner air and help combat climate change.
Mr Daniel Mensah Wardy, District Chief Executive (DCE) of AAK, told business owners and okada riders to fully utilise the high purchase agreement as it was flexible for all.
He advised them to always wear their helmet and obey driving regulations on the road after
