Mohamed Salah has been voted the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month for November.
Having scored five goals and provided two assists for Liverpool last month, Salah was a favourite to win the title. However, he was also expected to be in contention in October and August, when he scored in almost every game.
The Egyptian’s impressive performances on the pitch have been somewhat overlooked at times due to his contract expiring at the end of the season. Despite reports suggesting a deal had been proposed, there has been no confirmation of any agreement between the two parties.
Salah also expressed his desire to do a deal, speaking in an interview after the match against Southampton – after club legend Jamie Carragher was criticised for expressing his disappointment with the club’s all time top scorer in the Premier League.
