Fulham player Alex Iwobi has saved Christmas for many Londoners by opening a pop-up shop offering free food.

The Nigerian has stocked up on all the essentials for Christmas dinner, including turkeys, from a shop he calls “Alexpress”, located in Canning Town, where he grew up.

The food is distributed to families who would otherwise not be able to afford the necessities for a Christmas dinner.
“If I can help them have a good Christmas, why not?” said Iwobi.
