President John Dramani Mahama is slated to take his nationwide “Thank You Tour” to the North East and Savannah Regions, on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14, respectively.
The Presidency said during the tour, the President would address durbars of the chiefs and people of the North East and Savannah Regions in their capital towns of Nalerigu and Damongo respectively.
The “Thank You Tour” is to enable the President to express gratitude to the Chiefs and People of the two Regions for their massive support for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general election.
The President will use the durbars to announce priority development projects intended to create opportunities for the people.
The nationwide “Thank You Tour”, which has already taken President Mahama to 10 out of Ghana’s 16 regions, namely the Volta, Western, Central, Upper East, Northern, Upper West, Greater Accra, Bono East, Bono and Ahafo Regions, also affords him the opportunity to interact with Ghanaians, reinforce his commitment to addressing their concerns, and promote national development.
