Leicester star Fatawu Issahaku begins recovery with mobility exercises after surgery

Fatawu Issahaku has started mobility exercises just a month after undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery, a milestone in his recovery.

The 20-year-old suffered the injury while on international duty with the Black Stars, which was a major setback.
The injury required surgery and ruled him out for the rest of the season, dashing any hopes of contributing even more for club and country this year.

Issahaku has had a very good start to the 2024-25 season with Leicester City, registering two assists in 11 league appearances.
His performances were vital in Leicester’s successful promotion to the English Premier League and he was seen as a key player in their efforts.

His competence to have influence on the pitch at such a young age has been highly regarded, making the timing of his injury unfortunate.
