Napoli and star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have been in talks over the Georgian’s contract for some time and negotiations over his new contract have led to him moving away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Barcelona is one of the candidates to recruit him.

According to GdS, as reported by Sport, Kvaratskhelia’s agents have been in contact with Barcelona to see if they are interested in negotiating next summer. Napoli offered him a five-year contract with a maximum of 5 million euros per year, compared to 1.2 million euros per season currently.

This is in the region of what Kvaratskhelia’s agents are looking for, but they have not considered signing him subject to a release clause of 130 million euros that Napoli wants to include.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Barcelona had selected Kvaratskhelia as their main alternative to Nico Williams, who remains their priority target for the left-back position next summer.
