Sensational Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has revealed that his unwavering motivation in music is driven by his vision and the support of his close family.
The ‘Lomo Lomo’ hitmaker admitted that there are days when he doesn’t feel like singing, but the thought of his son, mother, and family pushes him to keep going.
“One thing that motivates me is the vision of where I am trying to get to and my family, my son, my mom… Days when I don’t feel like being an artiste, when I don’t feel like singing, when I think of all these people, I wake up and soldier on,” he shared.
KiDi also revealed that his biggest fear is poverty, which he believes would hinder his ability to enjoy life and make a meaningful impact on society.
“My parents taught me early in life that having fun is part of this life. The life that I want to live with my loved ones and friends is one of merry-making and enjoying ourselves,” he explained. “Without money, you cannot do that. You cannot also make an impact in other people’s lives.”
The interview turned into a lively affair when comedian Ato Pagh (Akoapolo), Events and Brands Manager Icon Nana Benyin Anumel, Baby Porsh, and SB hosted KiDi on Kumasi’s most entertaining radio show, ‘Ultimate Morning Swing.’
