Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good announce engagement

Hollywood stars Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have officially announced their engagement, sharing the joyous news during the 2024 Ebony Power 100 List event, where they revealed they first met in a unisex bathroom.

The 35-year-old Majors, best known for his roles in Creed III, Ant-Man, and The Harder They Fall, expressed his deep admiration for the 43-year-old Good. “She is the most perfect, beautiful, divine, and powerful being that I’ve ever met
 I feel great,” he said.

Meagan Good, who finalized her divorce from DeVon Franklin in 2021, has stood by Majors through his recent legal troubles. Earlier this year, Majors was convicted of assault and harassment stemming from a domestic dispute with a former girlfriend. He was sentenced to a 52-week domestic violence prevention program and a $250 surcharge.

Despite the challenges, Majors praised Good for her unwavering support. “The fact that she said, ‘I’m gonna run with you,’ I’m with it. I feel great,” he added.

Good, celebrated for her role in the series Harlem and co-authoring the relationship book The Wait with her ex-husband, has also been in the spotlight for her enduring career in film and television.

Majors’ upcoming film Magazine Dreams, initially delayed due to the allegations, is now slated for release in early 2025.
