Interior Minister engages key stakeholders in Ashanti Region

Mr. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, has paid a courtesy call on Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister, at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi.

The meeting formed part of Mr. Mubarak’s stakeholder engagement efforts to promote peace and security nationwide.

As part of his visit to the region, the Minister will meet Christian and Muslim religious leaders, and Zongo Chiefs to foster collaboration, promote social cohesion, and leverage their influence to enhance national harmony.

He will also visit agencies under his Ministry to boost morale and encourage officers to work diligently toward achieving their mandates.

The visit will enable him to familiarize himself with operations and assess the situation on the ground for informed decision-making.

Mr. Mubarak assured Dr. Amoakohene of his commitment to working closely together to address crime in the region effectively.

Dr. Amoakohene expressed gratitude for the Minister’s support and commitment to enhancing security.

He highlighted the region’s key security challenges and called for collaborative solutions.

Since assuming office, Mr. Mubarak has engaged key stakeholders to promote national unity, strengthen peace and security, and leverage stakeholder wisdom and experience for collective progress and national prosperity.
