Michy has described Shatta Wale’s claim that she was unappreciative during their relationship as both unfair and inaccurate.

In a recent appearance on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, Shatta Wale shared his perspective on their breakup, expressing disappointment that Michy didn’t value his efforts to sustain their relationship. He hinted that the true cause of their separation could spark massive controversy, saying, “I loved her so much and didn’t want to leave her. But she wasn’t appreciative of all that I did. I don’t want to go deep into it because it’s a terrible memory.”

Responding to these comments in an interview with Nana Romeo, Michy dismissed Shatta Wale’s statements, highlighting the sacrifices she made for him when they were together.

“It’s all settings. Everybody knows the kind of home I came from before meeting him, so he shouldn’t even be talking about appreciation,” Michy said. “I took a huge risk with the state he was in. Which lady would have risked it all for him like I did?”

Visibly frustrated, she added, “I can’t pour all my strength and support behind someone to help them succeed, only to be told I didn’t appreciate them. After seven years, I think we should all move on and stop apportioning blame.”

Michy revealed plans to document her experiences and journey, which she intends to share with the public soon. On her current personal life, she disclosed that she is in a private relationship and has no intention of making it public.

“I’m dating someone on the low. I don’t think I want a public relationship again. You need to be very discerning to manage public relationships; it’s a lot,” she explained.

Michy emphasized that she has found peace in her private life and is focused on her future, leaving the past behind.
