Mr. Ransford Antwi, former music manager of Kojo Antwi and CEO of Suncity Group, has signed the book of condolence for the late highlife legend Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
He was joined by Mr. Peter Boateng, CEO of Innorights Ghana, a child rights NGO, and Nana Agyeiwaa Ampaabeng Sikafo, the Krontrihemaa of Sunyani based in Germany.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Antwi described Daddy Lumba’s passing as a major loss to Ghana’s music industry, urging young artistes to emulate his humility, passion, and dedication.
The 60-year-old highlife icon passed away on July 26, 2025, after a short illness.
Meanwhile, hundreds of fans across Sunyani gathered at drinking spots to mark the one-week observance of his death, dancing and singing along to his timeless hits.
At the Stamford Bridge Bar on the Sunyani-Abesim road, a fan, Kennedy Adu, said, “In fact, all his songs are my favourites.”
