Fighter’ Song About Donald Trump Dominates iTunes Chart

A song called “Fighter” by Jon Kahn has taken the top spot on iTunes’ download chart, inspired by former President Donald Trump’s resilience in the face of challenges, including two impeachments and assassination attempts. Kahn, a singer-songwriter and occasional Breitbart author, wrote the song with Nashville hitmaker Chris Wallin, expressing awe at Trump’s ability to “get out of bed every day” despite adversity.

The song’s lyrics reflect this theme, with lines like “I’ve been down/Counted out/Smiling through the taste of blood” and “No one can say that I’m a run and hider/I was born to be a do or die-er.” Trump himself posted the music video on Friday, claiming it’s the number one song “across all charts,” although this isn’t entirely accurate, as it doesn’t appear on Apple Music’s Top 100 or Spotify’s Top 50 charts.

Interestingly, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld promoted the song on Thursday evening, encouraging his audience to listen and keep it at number one. The song’s music video has garnered over 269,000 views on YouTube as of Friday noon.

This phenomenon highlights Trump’s narrative of being a victim of political persecution, a message that resonates with his supporters. They claim he’s been unfairly targeted by Democrats, citing his impeachments, social media deplatforming, and indictment on felony counts related to mishandling classified documents.
