FC Barcelona has announced the signing of Ghanaian left-back David Oduro from Accra Lions, pending official formalities. The 18-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract with Barça Atlètic, the club’s reserve team, until June 30, 2027.

Oduro, born on June 12, 2006, in Ghana, rose through the Accra Lions youth academy before making his professional debut in the 2022/23 season. He has since played 50 games in the Ghanaian Premier League, scoring one goal and earning a call-up to the Ghana U20 national team.

Described as a quick and attack-minded full-back, Oduro is known for his ability to link up with teammates, anticipate opposition moves, and beat opponents with his speed. He will join Barça Atlètic’s training sessions in the coming days, further bolstering the team’s defensive options.
