Families Set Record Straight: No Interference in Barekese Burials

In a surprising turn of events, families from Barekese who recently buried their loved ones have come forward to correct misinformation circulating in the community. Contrary to speculation, they claim that no individual or committee member attempted to prevent them from burying their family members.

Speaking to Angel News, the families expressed gratitude for a peaceful and respectful burial process. They emphasized that their right to bury their loved ones was not interfered with, and they wanted to set the record straight.

One family member shared, “We were worried about potential interference, but thankfully, no one tried to stop us. We said our final goodbyes in peace.”

Another family added, “Only Otumfour, our revered king, has the authority to intervene in such matters. No one else has the power to stop us from burying our family members.”
