Erling Haaland Continues Record-Breaking Streak

Erling Haaland’s phenomenal start to the season has left the football world stunned, as he continues to shatter records with ease. The Manchester City sensation has scored an unprecedented nine goals in just four Premier League games, surpassing Wayne Rooney’s previous best of eight.

Haaland’s individual goal tally is more than any Premier League team, except Manchester City, has managed this season. He’s been so dominant that only a goalpost denied him a historic run of hattricks in three consecutive Premier League games.

Haaland’s brace against Brentford propelled Manchester City to a 2-1 victory, taking his goalscoring total at the club to 99 in just 103 matches. His first goal came in the 19th minute, and his second just before halftime, showcasing his speed, strength, and skill.

Haaland has already become the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League goals, achieving this feat in just 48 games – 17 games faster than Andrew Cole’s previous record.

Should Haaland lead the league in scoring again this season, he’ll become the first player since Thierry Henry in 2006 to win three consecutive Golden Boot awards.
