Evangelist Agness Abafoduba Annan, affectionately known as Agaga and the mother of gospel musician Empress Gifty, will be laid to rest on January 18, 2025, at Tema Community 3.

The announcement was made by Empress Gifty, whose full name is Gifty Osei Adorye, via her Facebook page.

“My late mother, Evangelist Agness Abafoduba Annan, finally goes home on January 18, 2025. I cordially invite you all to come and mourn with me and my family as we give our mother a befitting burial,” she shared.

Agaga passed away in the early hours of Saturday, December 14, 2024, after a brief illness. She was a pillar of strength and love within her family and a cherished figure in the gospel community.

Her legacy of dedication and love continues to inspire those who knew her. Empress Gifty has been surrounded by support from many notable personalities who have visited to offer condolences during this difficult time.
