The New Patriotic Party’s 2024 running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has strongly endorsed the integrity of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking at the party’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi, Western Region, on Sunday, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, described Dr. Bawumia as a leader free from corruption who is poised to build on the achievements of the Akufo-Addo government.

He assured Ghanaians that Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to transparency and accountability will be the cornerstone of his administration.

“I am a strong believer in Dr. Bawumia. Having worked closely with him, I am confident in his ability and knowledge. He is undoubtedly the leader Ghana needs at this moment. I am committed to serving him loyally and ensuring his vision is translated into action—a vision for a better, more prosperous Ghana. I pledge to work even harder to support this vision.

Dr. Bawumia is a visionary leader. He is humble yet firm, affable, loyal, honest, a problem solver, a hard worker, a go-getter, and a man of integrity. He is destined to take Ghana to the next level. I know Dr. Alhaji Bawumia is not corrupt. His personal and public life have never been marred by corruption. He has never been investigated, and he will never be compromised. Mr. President, you are handing over to an honorable man to continue the work.”

Dr. Opoku Prempeh pledged to support Dr. Bawumia in driving his vision for Ghana, emphasizing his problem-solving skills and unwavering dedication to the nation’s progress.
