Election 2024: Mzbel and Big Akwes rally Kasoa residents to vote for change with NDC

At an NDC rally in Kasoa on November 12, 2024, popular Ghanaian musician Mzbel and actor Big Akwes urged residents to vote for the opposition party, calling for a change from the current NPP government. Mzbel, known for her hit song “16 Years” and a dedicated supporter of the NDC, expressed that Ghanaians are ready for a shift in leadership, citing frustration with the current administration’s failure to create jobs.

Addressing the crowd, Mzbel highlighted the high turnout as a sign of Kasoa residents’ desire for change. She refuted claims that Kasoa’s people are “lazy,” instead pointing to the lack of local job opportunities that drive residents to seek work in Accra.

Big Akwes echoed her sentiments, emphasizing the community’s unity and peaceful spirit while calling on Ghanaians to vote for the NDC on December 7 for a better future. The two celebrities’ public support adds to the ongoing momentum for the opposition in the lead-up to the general elections.
